In December 2004, while visiting family in Rogue River, we saw a house for sale that included an old apple orchard.  Even though it was winter time we loved the area.  Little did we know how beautiful it would be during spring, summer, and fall.

The apple trees were originally planted between 1918 - 1920 and the apples were used by Harry & David in Medford, Oregon.  The trees haven't been touched in many years and it's been a time consuming process to get them back in shape.  We've kept as many of the apple trees as possible, and hope to bring them back to full use.  There are at least 4 different varieties of apples, and during the season we hope to be selling them.

Our apples are sweet, juicy, and best of all... organic!

There is an old pole barn, painted red of course, that can be seen from Interstate 5.  The barn was built in the early 1900's.  While walking through the cool breezeways, you can almost hear the sounds of people laughing and chatting while they polished apples to get them ready for market many years ago.

The barn is a gathering place whenever we're outside.  You can play ping-pong (watch out for Henry he's good!), hit the punching bag, or pull up a chair in the shade and enjoy a view of the pond that Matt and Blake built.

Soon after we purchased the property, we realized we needed a tractor.  As luck would have it, our neighbors had one of the original tractors used on the ranch during it's prime apple producing years.  These days you'll find Matt still using the 1949 tractor as he cuts the rows between the trees.
